Dental sealants are an effective, evidence-based strategy to prevent dental caries. Community health centers continue to lead the national effort to increase sealant rates. This session will review the 2022 HRSA UDS Sealant data and feature an introduction from BPHC's Dental Officer, Dr. Folasayo Adunola. The session will review the evidence for dental sealants and strategies to improve sealant rates. One health center will share ways they've improved data collection accuracy and sealant rates in their organization through participation in NNOHA's Sealant Learning Communities Collaborative.


Objectives:
1) Review the HRSA UDS Sealant Measure data for 2022.
2) Describe strategies to improve sealant rates.
3) Learn how 1 community health center improved its sealant rates.
