Position Overview
The Dentist/DDS will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and emergency dental services. This role includes supervising dental hygienists and assistants, participating in staff meetings, and contributing to the development of dental quality measures.
Key Responsibilities
• Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive dental services, including routine and emergency treatments.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on oral health care and maintenance.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with medical and behavioral health teams to provide integrated care.
Specific Duties
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Perform dental procedures and manage patient pain and infection.
• Make specialist referrals when necessary.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Provide care to patients of all ages, focusing on accessible services for underserved populations.
