The National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) is seeking interested health centers to participate in the Sealant Learning Communities Collaborative (LCC) funded through NNOHA's national cooperative agreement with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The virtual LCC will take place from February to June 2025. The Sealants LCC will allow the opportunity for health centers to engage in activities that will improve their UDS Sealants Measure outcomes. This LCC utilizes shared experiences and promising practices in data collection and reporting. NNOHA will also share findings from experience in providing T/TA on the UDS Sealant Measure to individual health centers over the last nine years. Accepted health centers will participate in four 1-hour interactive virtual webinars.
The Sealants Learning Community Collaborative is an excellent opportunity for eligible health centers to:
Improve the accuracy of data collection and reporting for the HRSA UDS Sealant Measure.
Engage in activities that will help improve and sustain HRSA UDS Sealants Measure outcomes.
Improve patient outcomes by increasing the number of health center patients ages 6 to 9 who receive dental sealants.
Learn tested strategies to improve the HRSA UDS Sealant Measure.
This LCC is limited to community health centers whose 2023 UDS Sealants Measure is below the national average (58.8%).
More information regarding this opportunity is available here in the PDF application.
For questions about this learning collaborative, please email Candace Owen at candace@nnoha.org. Online applications are due by December 2, 2024 at 5pm PST.
Email and paper applications will not be accepted.
