NNOHA is the largest group of safety-net oral health practitioners in the country, and our members all share a commitment to increasing access to quality oral health care for underserved populations. NNOHA is committed to providing the highest quality resources and support designed to meet the unique needs of our members and their programs.
NNOHA is accepting applications from health centers to participate in a virtual Teledentistry for Access Learning Collaborative funded through NNOHA’s National Training and Technical Assistance Partnership with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The Learning Collaborative will take place virtually from January 2025 to June 2025. The Teledentistry for Access Learning Collaborative aims to increase access to oral health services through synchronous teledentistry by using more efficient practice systems, patient engagement, provider recruitment/retention, and clinical improvements. Participating health centers will review and share strategies for using synchronous teledentistry beyond traditional emergency triage.
The Learning Collaborative will cover the following topics:
Teledentistry Policy
Planning Your First Teledentistry Vision
Creating a Vision for Teledentistry & Access in Your Organization
Teledentistry as a Tool to Improve Access
The four 90-minute sessions of the Learning Collaborative are:
January 22, 2025 at 10am PT/ 11am MT/ 12pm CT/1pm ET
March 5, 2025 at 10am PT/ 11am MT/ 12pm CT/1pm ET
April 23, 2025 at 10am PT/ 11am MT/ 12pm CT/1pm ET
